The dormitory was built in 1995 by the ‘ Foundation Of Social Assistance and Solidarity ‘ which is a part of Bartın Governorship to fullfill the need of shelter of both  male and female high school students.

In 2000,it was devoted only to female students. The dorm passed on  to Ministry Of Education in 2003 and Ministry gave the dorm to Mehmet Akif Ersoy Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Since2003  it has been serving as a part of our school.
